User Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 08/02/21

Warp Point allows anyone to sign up and take part in live, interactive fundraising quizzes for causes. By signing up for, and taking part in these quizzes, users agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, along with those found in our privacy policy.

Hosts can offer prizes to users who take part in quiz events. The fulfillment and delivery of any prizes offered are the sole responsibility of the event host, and Warp Point cannot be held liable for any failure to deliver said prize at any point. Warp Point does not vet, check, or otherwise verify the prizes Hosts offer, and accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death that may occur as a result of taking up the prize.

Feedback and suggestions

Warp Point is an evolving platform, and as such we hugely welcome and suggestions, feedback or comments for features our causes, hosts and users would like to see. You can submit feedback by sending an email to . We’d like to be able to implement the features you’d like to see, so in order for us to do so, you agree that by submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based upon, or otherwise use the feedback for any purpose.

In order to play along with a quiz event, users may need to make a donation to the cause in question, using the buttons provided on the quiz page. All causes are manually vetted, to give donors peace of mind, and any donations made are paid automatically to the cause in question.

Warp Point is a high-technology platform, which requires constant revision and maintenance to keep it both up to date and stable. We provide hosts and causes with free access to our suite of quiz creation tools and live quiz platform; hosting with burst capacity for tens of thousands of users on our servers; and a regular supply of free-to-use question packs. As such, to keep our services running, both Warp Point and the charity’s payment provider do deduct a platform fee from donations, though the cause will receive the vast, vast majority of the money donated. While the absolute amount received will vary depending on the agreement the cause has with their payment provider, on a £10 donation, a charity should receive £8.66, or 87% of the donation, assuming it's processed through PayPal, and using PayPal's charity rate.

Donations are not refundable. Warp Point cannot guarantee how your donation will be used by the cause in question, and after making the donation, any further queries about your donation and how it’s used should be directed to the cause in question.

Personal data

When joining a quiz, the information you provide will be accessible by the host, including but not limited to your email address, nicknames, and donation amount. The host may either be a charity, or a third party fundraising for their cause of choice.

Hosts have access to this information in order to facilitate the distrubition of any prizes they may be awarding for their quiz. Hosts must not sell on any user information they receive through use of this platform, and must obey all local data protection and data handling laws. Hosts accept sole responsibility for the processing and use of any acquired user information.
